M.Arch का पूरा नाम Master of Architecture होता है. M.Arch एक Postgraduate Architecture Engineering Course है. Architecture एक अनुशासन या भवन निर्माण और निर्माण की कला है. यह ठीक इमारतों के डिजाइन और निर्माण और Decoration के सिद्धांतों से संबंधित है. इस कोर्स की अवधि दो साल है जो आम तौर पर चार सेमेस्टर में विभाजित होती है.
M.Arch Course को Correspondence या Distance Education के जरिए भी आगे किया जा सकता है. M.Arch Course किसी की चुनी हुई विशेषज्ञता में विशेषज्ञता प्रदान करता है. Master of Architecture सिर्फ इमारतों में शामिल नहीं है यह गार्डन, पार्क और थीम पार्क आदि जैसे विभिन्न प्रकार के वातावरण को डिजाइन करने में भी शामिल है और प्रत्येक वास्तु पर्यावरण के लिए एक विशेषज्ञ है इस प्रकार हमारे पास Green Architect, Landscape Architect, Museum Architect, Naval Architects, Theater Architects आदि हैं. Council of Architecture (COA) एक Regulating Body है जो Architect के Register को बनाए रखने के अलावा पूरे भारत में पेशे की शिक्षा और व्यवहार को विनियमित करने से संबंधित है.
M.Arch में Admission लेने के लिए आपके पास Bachelor of Architecture की Degree 50% अंक के साथ उत्तीर्ण होनी चाहिए. कुछ संस्थानों में M.Arch Degree में प्रवेश लेने के लिए एक योग्यता परीक्षा और एक साक्षात्कार की आवश्यकता होती है.
